Albert Mbahena Magwene, of Northridge, passed away November 12, 2025 in Woodland Hills. Albert leaves behind his wife, Katherine Magwene (née Smith), his three children (Paul Magwene, Sara Hirahara, and Malaika Magwene), his three grandchildren (Maira Magwene-Muñiz, Emilia Magwene-Muñiz, Rowan Hirahara), and a loving extended family.
A Funeral Mass will be held on December 9 at 10:00am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church (19855 Sherman Way, Winnetka, CA 91306).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to Heifer International (https://www.heifer.org/).
