Alexander Moresi

Alexander David Moresi, age 38, died peacefully at home in Simi Valley, CA, on September 8, 2017. Rose Family Funeral Home are handling his final arrangements. A Celebration of His Life will occur at a date to be determined. Alex was born at home in Dallas, Texas to James and Katherine Moresi (nee Shesler) on September 20, 1978. He moved to Simi Valley in 1986 when he was entering the second grade. He graduated from Apollo High School in 1996, and attended college at Santa Monica College. He was employed in Retail Sales for many years. Alex is survived by his fiance Sarah Ann Korda, his parents James Moresi and Katherine Skeen of Simi Valley, his stepfather Leslie Skeen, and brothers Andrew Moresi, PeterMoresi and his wife Jennifer, another brother Anthony Moresi, and niece Natalie Moresi and nephew James C. Morei. Alex enjoyed many things:Music, art, hiking, snow boarding, surfing, sailing, horticulture and his dogs. We are thankful to the wonderful staff of Vitas Hospice who cared for Alex during his final illness. The family requests donations to Trees of Memory at Arborday.org or Safe drinking water at Water.org in lieu of Flowers.
