Ana Maria Shiravi

d. February 19, 2019

On Tuesday, February 19, 2019, Ana Maria Shiravi, loving wife of 41 years and mother of two children, passed away at the age of 70.

Ana was born on April 11, 1948 in Colombia. She was born into a large family of 12 siblings and later immigrated to US in 1966, living in Los Angeles. On February 17, 1978, she married Mohammad Shiravi and they raised two children, Shila and Danny in Simi Valley, CA.

Ana loved to cook and was amazing at making not only great Colombian food but Iranian food as well. She never heard a song she didn't want to dance to and was always the first to jump up and get the dance floor going. She loved to make people laugh and make new friends. She enjoyed traveling, but most of all - she enjoyed her family. Her best memories were around the dinner table surrounded by her friends and family, of which there were many. She made everyone feel welcome and had a relentlessly positive outlook on life with a big smile to match.

Ana is survived by her husband Mohammad, her two children, Shila and Danny, her sisters Helena, Alicia, and Beatrz and brothers Arturo and Anival.
