Angela Marie Farnsworth

February 21, 1919 — May 29, 2014

Angela Marie Farnsworth

Born February 21, 1919 in Wawawai, Washington. Dedicated by her parents to the Blessed Virgin Mary at her birth.

She was the oldest of 10 children (4 girls and 6 boys).

She married Afton Leroy ("Cappy") Farnsworth in 1943 in Angel's Camp, CA

She was widowed after 27 years in 1970. For her married life, she was a housewife and mother. As a widow with 2 children still at home, she became a cook until her retirement in 1982.

There were 7 siblings Lester Bert (m. Sylvia), Florence Rose (m.Robert), Robert Earl (m. Marilyn), Richard Allen (m. Jane), William LeRoy (m. Wendy), Stephen Gerard (m. Marilyn), and Thomas Clarence (m. Dottie). She has 22 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

She loved the Eucharist. She was our family prayer warrior, saying as many as 6 rosaries a day in addition to the Divine Mercy. She had a remarkable memory for family history which she recounted in her own blog that she started at the young age of 89. (www.lodimama.blogspot.com)

She also had a passion for crossword puzzles, EWTN, Lawrence Welk shows, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. Most recently, she was watching classic movies recounting the plots in minute detail to anyone who would listen.

From notes in her personal diary regarding her death: "To my children ALL SEVEN and their spouses, I leave you with nothing very valuable but my love and prayers, hoping to see all of you with me, hopefully, in Heaven with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and His Blessed Mother Mary and all our dear relatives and friends with the saints of God!"
