Anthony Ray Doyel

Anthony Ray Doyel of Simi Valley, California passed away on April 29, 2026, much too soon at the age of 43.

Born on November 19, 1982, in Wagoner, Oklahoma, Anthony lived a life filled with creativity, humor, compassion, and deep love for his family and friends.

Anthony is survived by his beloved wife, Jennifer Doyel, and his cherished daughter, Virginia Doyel, who were the center of his world. He was a devoted husband and father whose greatest joy came from spending time with the people he loved most and playing Doungeon and Dragons in his free time.

Anthony had an incredible imagination and a passion for storytelling. He loved playing and running Dungeons & Dragons campaigns, creating unforgettable adventures for friends and fellow players. Before his death he had also been working on developing his own tabletop gaming system, combining his creativity and love of bringing people together through shared stories and adventure. Beyond gaming, Anthony loved watching movies when he could and in his free time building Legos with his daughter, creating memories brick by brick that will be treasured forever.

Those who knew Anthony will remember him as smart, creative, playful, and deeply caring. He had a big heart and a lovingly sarcastic sense of humor that could brighten even the hardest days. He was the kind of person who always showed up when someone truly needed support, encouragement, or simply a reason to smile. Whether as a friend, husband, or father, Anthony always tried his best to love those he held dear and make them feel seen and valued.

A private celebration of life will be held on May 30, 2026, in Simi Valley for close friends and family to gather, honor his memory and say their final goodbyes.

Anthony’s warmth, creativity, laughter, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
