Antonio Torres Aguilar

June 12, 1943 — June 6, 2025

Antionio T. Aguilar, 81, Moorpark, CA, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025, in his home surrounded by family.

Antonio was born in Guadalupe de Trujillo, Zacatecas, Mexico to Juana and Rafael Aguilar on June 12, 1943. He worked as a Welding/Maintenance Manager at Egg City for 30 years. He was a hard worker. His dedication and work ethic left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

He was the kind of person who made friends wherever he went. Whether you knew him for five minutes or fifty years, you could always count on a warm welcome, a cold drink, and maybe a spot at the grill if you timed it right. He was a lifelong fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers — win or lose, he stayed loyal.

He found joy in life’s simple pleasures: tending to his perfectly kept lawn, manning the barbecue on weekends, soaking up the sun at the beach, and enjoying long, easy conversations on the front porch. In his later years, that porch became his favorite spot — a place to wave to neighbors, swap stories, and spend time with the people he loved most.

But more than anything, Antonio was a family man. He was the kind of man who showed up, who listened, who loved without hesitation. He taught us to laugh through the hard times and to show up for each other.

His memory will live on in every shared family meal, every game-day gathering, and every sunset viewed from the porch.

We will miss his laugh, his stories, and his generous heart — but we find comfort in knowing he lived a full life, surrounded by the people and things he loved.

Antonio is survived by his wife of 62 years, Rita Aguilar.
