Barbara Ann Kellams

Barbara Ann (DiFiglio) Kellams passed away on June 2, 2026 at her home in Westlake Village, California. She was 77 years old.

Barbara was born in Chicago, Illinois, and attended Mundelein High School and Southern Illinois University. She went on to study law at Loyola University in Chicago, where she graduated cum laude while working full time and attending night classes. She began her career at A.S. Hansen before her legal skills carried her to Price Waterhouse and Disney, where she worked for more than twenty years. Barbara was a Vice President-Counsel for many years and at her retirement she held the title of Assistant General Counsel at Disney. She enjoyed many Disneyland trips including the traditional Thanksgiving trips with her beloved daughter Kari, husband Allen, and son-in-law Robert. She retired from Disney in 2013.

Barbara was witty, smart, hardworking, engaging, and loving. In retirement, she enjoyed monthly lunch meetings with her former colleagues, book clubs, and spending time with family and friends. Barbara was the consummate hostess, especially for Christmas, and made legendary cosmopolitans for her many friends. Friends and family could always count on her in good times and in bad times. Barbara never missed contacting a loved one for birthdays and celebrating special occasions and reunions, but she also supported them while problem solving or offering a shoulder to cry on. These relationships brought her incredible joy, and her family, friends and colleagues universally adored her. She will be dearly missed.

Barbara is survived by her daughter Kari, son-in-law Robert, grandson Dax, and granddaughter Athena. She is also survived by her loving sister Jeanne, niece Jennifer, and many other loving family members and friends. Barbara was predeceased by her parents, Ignatius and Violet DiFiglio, and her husband Allen Lee Kellams.

Barbara did not want a memorial service, though the family may hold a celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Wounded Warriors or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
