Betty Jane Dungan

Betty Jane Dungan (born Betty Jane Davis) 90, of Newbury Park California, passed away on June 21, 2015 in Panorama City, with her grandson Craig Dungan, his wife, Sheri Dungan, and Betty’s great granddaughter Kylee Dungan at her side.

Betty was born in Chicago Illinois on February 2, 1925 to her mother Rose Lillian Davis and her father John Davis.

Betty married her husband William Harold Dungan on March 5, 1949. They recently had their 66th wedding anniversary.

Betty loved her family and devoutly took care of her husband as he worked as a mechanic to provide for his family. Betty had many friends and family that have since passed. She would speak fondly of them often.

She is survived by her beloved husband William (Bill), her sisters Cora and Marie, her three children Ruth, Billy, George, and their respective spouses, her grandchildren, Craig, Howard, Jamie, Amy, Liana, Melanie, and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on July 3, 2015 at 3:00pm at Rose Family Funeral Home in Simi Valley.
