Betty Ramirez

Bertha Lee (Betty) Ramirez, 86, of Simi Valley & Palmdale, Ca, passed away on March 2, 2015 in Woodland Care Center, Reseda Ca.

Funeral service will be held at Oakwood Memorial Park, 22601 Lassen St. Chatsworth, Ca 91311 on March 9, 2015 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Same Location. Rose Family Mortuary will be handling the funeral arrangements.

Betty was born in Trenton, Todd, Kentucky to Mabel Lucille & Cleveland O’Neal Brown on January 10, 1929. Betty shared a wonderful life with her husband Dave. They were never far apart from one another and they cherished their road trips across the country home to Kentucky. Betty was passionate about her family and took pleasure in gathering everyone together. Betty loved to sing, dance, and care for her family. Her greatest pleasure was watching her grandchildren grow and ultimately cuddling with her great-grandchildren.

Betty is survived by her husband of 60 years, David G. Ramirez Sr., of Simi Valley Ca., 7 children: Joyce Stacy, Steve Crawford, Sherry Crawford, David G. Ramirez Jr., Katrina Steward, Dena Ramirez, and Tamarah Knight, 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 9 siblings, numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mabel Lucille Ferguson & Cleveland O’Neal Brown.
