Brian David Diederich, 55, of Simi Valley, California, passed away on October 21, 2025.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at 2000 Royal Avenue, Simi Valley, California, with Pastor Tony Silvestri of Simi Community Church officiating. The service will also be live streamed for those who can not attend in person (see livestream link below).
Born on August 1, 1970, to Donna and Mathew Diederich, Brian moved with his family to Simi Valley in 1977, where he would spend the rest of his life building deep roots and lasting friendships. He graduated from Simi Valley High School in 1988 and earned his Associate’s Degree from Moorpark College in 1992. That same year, he began his career at Countrywide Home Loans as a Customer Service Representative. His dedication and talent led to a 33-year career in Information Technology with Countrywide and later Bank of America.
In 1994, Brian graduated from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Academy and proudly served as a Reserve Deputy with the Lennox Station for 15 years — a testament to his commitment to service and community.
Brian lived life with quiet strength and a generous heart. He found joy in fishing, coaching girls’ softball, bowling with friends, and playing Call of Duty. But above all, he cherished time spent with his family and loved ones.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Melissa, and their daughter, Kendall, both of Simi Valley; his father, Mathew Diederich, and his wife Cheryl; his sister, Carolyn Diederich; his nephews Jack and Athena Peachey, TJ and Morgan Dennis, John and Holly Peachey, Sean and Avrie Collier, Coby Dennis; his nieces Nicolette and Amanda Collier and her husband William; his mother-in-law, Sharon Hesla; sisters-in-law Laurie Peachey and Vicki Collier; his Aunt Sharon Dellamalva; his cousins Amber and Eric Victoria, and Ryan and Vanessa Dellamalva. He is preceded in death by his mother, Donna Diederich.
Brian’s memory will live on not only in our hearts, but in the laughter he shared, the lives he touched, and the love he gave so freely. His legacy is one of kindness, loyalty, and unwavering devotion to family and community. Though we grieve his absence, we celebrate a life well-lived and a soul now at peace.
