Charlene Lynette Renteria

Born September 18th, 1956 in Blythe, CA and passed on June 18th, 2015 at her home in Simi Valley, CA after a courageous 6 month battle with cancer. Charlene grew up in the Coachella Valley before moving to Simi Valley in 1978. She worked at El Torito as a waitress until she started her career as a pre-school teacher at Kids 'N Things. For 28 years, she helped mold the lives of many young children, as well as so many adults. The family would like to thank Dr. Ghanem and his staff along with TLC Hospice for all of their amazing work/support during these final months at home with her family. Her firecracker like tell it how it is attitude will be deeply missed by all.

Proceeded in death by Father- Charles Stallard, Mother - Patricia Jiles, and Sisters - Terry Thorpe and Linda Gray, Survived by Sisters - Lori Rodriguez and Cammy Rojas, Husband - Rudy Renteria and Sons- Brandon and Travis Renteria.
