Christine Eileen Mceldowney

Christine Eileen Morefield McEldowney went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 11, 2015 after suffering from a stroke. She was born on July 6, 1935 in Seattle, Washington to Walter and Betty Bodie. In July of 1954, Chris married Howard Morefield and moved to Lancaster in 1957. In 1974, she married Charles “Casey” McEldowney. That marriage ended in 1978. In her retirement, she lived in Rosamond, Moorpark and Lancaster. Chris was devoted to her children, her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. She is survived by her son Mark and his wife Jodi, her daughter Cynthia Haven and her husband David, and son Perry. Chris is also survived by her 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Chris was preceded in death by her oldest son Howard Jay. Memorial services will be held at Grace Chapel, 44648 15th Street West, Lancaster, Ca. on 3-29-15 at 3:00.
