Cresencio Andongo

Crescencio Andongo, 66, of North Hills, California, passed away on March 10, 2023 in Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at Rose Funeral Home on March 17th 2023 at 5PM with Deacon Melecio Zamora of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church. Visitation will be held at Rose Funeral Home on March 17th from 3PM-9PM. Rose Family Funeral will be handling the funeral arrangements. Cres was born in Santiago City, Philippines to Paulina Degamo and Cresencio Andongo on December 22, 1956. He went to high school at LaSalette Highschool and graduated in 1975. He went on to earn a certificate in Mechanic Automobile from LA College. He worked as a self-employed mechanic, repairing automobiles for decades. He enjoyed building anything and everything, whether it was motorcycles, cars, anything with an engine in it. Cres is survived by his son Jeffrey Lee Andongo of North Hills, his son Patrick Andongo of North Hills, daughter Kathleen Deguzman of Panorama City, and son John Paul Andongo of Van Nuys. Furthermore he is survived by one brother, eight sisters, twenty-three nephews/nieces and three grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his sister Rebecca A. Perez. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to those who helped Cres with medical care towards the end of his life.
