D. Michael Lyden

D. Michael Lyden, 75, of Camarillo, CA, passed away on September 16, 2016, surrounded by loved ones.

Mike was born in Urbana, OH to John Lyden and Wilma Gallahue on February 5, 1941. He moved to California as a child and developed a passion for horseback riding that he pursued throughout his life. He went on to serve in the Army and earn a law degree from Southwestern University. He ran a successful law practice for decades and was accepted into the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates in 1991. He was a founding member of the Cowboy Lawyers Association, a group from which he drew much happiness and established lifelong friendships.

Mike is survived by his children Sean and Danielle, his grandchildren Evan, Riley and Charlie and his puppy Sam.

Funeral service will be held at Rose Family Funeral Home, 4444 Cochran Street, Simi Valley, CA 93063 on October 8, 2016 at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Cancer Research Institute.
