David Hurtado

David Lorenzo Hurtado, 73 of Sylmar, California passed away on May 20, 2024 in Mission Hills, California.

Funeral services will be held at Canyon Country Community Center on Sunday, July 7, 2024 with Pastor William Hinn officiating.

Rose Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements.

David was born in Juarez, Mexico to Socorro Uribe and Lorenzo Hurtado on February 21, 1951. He went to Sylmar High School.

He loved being a part of the music ministry in church for over 25 years and ministering to others. He was also an ordained minister.

He is survived by his wife, Lilly Hurtado, and children, Johanna, Bobby, Lorenzo, Charity, David and Socorro, and siblings; Ruth, Socorro Mary, Josie, Louie, Efren, Ezekiel, Ruben and Antonio. He has 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in passing by his son, Andrew E. Hurtado, parents, Socorro and Lorenzo.

Memorial donations may be made to Go Fund Me for Minister David Hurtado. The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to all who have generously donated to help put him to rest.
