David William Scheiffler

(July 20, 1951 – July 13, 2016)

David William Scheiffler, 64, of Valencia, CA, passed away on July 13, 2016.

David was born in Jackson, Michigan to Ralph and Leora (Allen) on July 20, 1951. He graduated from Parkside High School and Ferris State University where he received an engineering degree. In 1981, David moved his family to California. He was an accomplished salesman who enjoyed his work and took great pleasure in his many accomplishments, especially his three children of whom he adored. David’s favorite past times were playing cards, golfing and baseball, and he was an avid fan of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. David was a member of the Vista Valencia Men’s Golf Club and had a passion for the game. Most recently, David was a board member for the Optimist Club of Canyon Country and was extremely proud of his service to the organization.

David is survived by his three children, Mandy (Dusty) Rhodes of Woodland Hills, Brent (Heather) Scheiffler of Valencia, and Lindsy (Richard) Hamilton of West Hills, and eight grandchildren: Dominick, Jocelyn and Patrick Rhodes, Kymber and Sydney Scheiffler, and Allison, Teagan and Evan Hamilton. He is also survived by his sister Nancy (Jan) Blick of West Palm Beach, Florida, and his long-time companion Dianne Hardway of Valencia.
