Deborah Lynn Westrup

Deborah Lynn "Debbie" Westrup, 53, of Simi Valley, CA, passed away on April 5, 2016 in Simi VAlley.

Funeral service will be held at Cornerstone Church on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 11:00 with Pastor Don Conner of Rock Church officiating. Burial will follow at Simi Valley Public Cemetery. Rose Family Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements.

Debbie was born in Glendale, CA to John and Barbara (Radde) Beckham on February 23, 1963. She went to high school at Simi Valley High School and graduated in 1981. She worked as a Senior Financial Operator Analyst for Anthem Blue Cross for 30 years. She enjoyed being with her husband, children, family and friends. She enjoyed ministering to others especially the elderly at Simi Valley Care Center and Children's Church as well as teaching one-on-one bible studies. She was also involved in college aged bible study groups.

Debbie is survived by her husband, Ben Westrup, Daughter Jocelyn Westrup, and sons Benjamin, Austin, and Britton Westrup. She is also survived by her mother, Barbara Barnes (Seegar) or Acton, CA, and brother Denny Beckham of Simi Valley, and countless other family. She is preceded in death by her Father, John Beckham.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Hospice Care of the Valley for taking such wonderful care of Debbie. They would also like to express gratitude to Rock Church, especially Pastor Don Conner and Patty Conner, for their unconditional love and support they have shown during Debbie's life journey. The family is also deeply touched by the support Cornerstone Church has shown them and for hosting Debbie's Celebration of Life.
