Dena Yvonne Lazenby Ingalls

Dena Yvonne Ingalls passed away on September 30, 2026 at the age of 64 in Simi Valley, CA. She was born in Inglewood, CA on April 26, 1962 to Jeanette and Gilbert Ingalls.

Dena grew up in Newhall, CA alongside her brothers Sean, JW, mom Jeanette and her stepdad JW. Whitmarsh. She was a 1980 graduate of Saugus High School in Santa Clarita, CA.

Throughout her life, Dena exhibited strength, spirit and liveliness in all that she did. Over the years, she worked as a legal secretary, a personal weight trainer, a sports podcaster and a writer. She also devoted many years as a loving caregiver for her mother in Ventura, CA.

Dena will be fondly remembered for her beautiful smile, her love for making people laugh and her deep passion for her favorite sports teams.

She will be dearly missed by her family and close friends, and will forever remain in our hearts.

A celebration of Life will take place Oct 17, 2026 at 11:30am at Ventura Harbor. 1575 Spinnaker Dr. Dock C-10.
