Dolores U. Kulakowski

Dolores (Dee) Kulakowski, 79, of Simi Valley, California, went peacefully to our Lord Saturday, October 10 after a long illness. Dee was born in Hartford, Connecticut, to the late Nell and Arthur Kulakowski Senior. She grew up in West Hartford, Connecticut. She attended the University of Bridgeport, where she earned her dental hygiene degree. She moved to California in 1963, and lived in Simi Valley since 1973. She practiced dental hygiene as well as owned a real estate escrow firm and a package shipping business.

Dee is predeceased by her long time partner Jean Stine of Simi Valley, and brothers Arthur Kulakowski Junior of Avon, Connecticut and Robert Kulakowski of Enfield, Connecticut. Dee is survived by her nephew Robert Kulakowski of Simsbury, Connecticut, niece Mary Mackinnon of Avon, Connecticut, grand nieces Stephanie Page of Richmond, Virginia and Jennifer Kulakowski of Fort Worth, Texas, and grand nephew Gregory Mackinnon of West Hartford, Connecticut.

Dee will be buried per her wishes with her father and mother at Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield Connecticut after a funeral mass at SS Cyril & Methodious Church in Hartford, Connecticut. There will be no calling hours. Memorial gifts may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Dee’s memory to help find a cure for this awful disease.
