Donielle "Dawn" Ann Cooknell, 38, of Santa Clarita, CA, passed away on September 21, 2016 in Simi Valley, CA.

Funeral service will be held at Rose Family Funeral Home on Monday, October 3rd, 2016 at 10am with Reverend Jonathan Mulford officiating. Burial will follow. Reception will be held at Rose Family Funeral Home after burial. Rose Family Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements.

Donielle Cooknell was born in Tarzana, CA to Donald Cooknell and Leilani (Wiest) Furgang on March 15, 1978. She went to high school at Saugus High School and graduated in 1996. She went on to earn a degree in Nursing from Charter College. She worked as a LVN for the past 9 years. She enjoyed riding motorcycles with Marco, spending time with her kids and posting updates on her social media.

Donielle is survived by her father, Donald Cooknell and step-mother Kathi Cooknell of Fraiser Park, CA; mother, Leilani Furgang of Simi Valley, CA; sister Kristi (Brian) Joanis of Reno, NV; brother Shane Furgang of Simi Valley; grandmother, Sharon Wiest of Simi Valley, CA; son, Noah of Castaic, CA; daugther, Emilee of Castaic, CA; the father of her children, Marco Gonzalez of Castaic, CA; aunts Shelly (Eddie) Reed and Mona Vescio of Simi Valley, CA; nieces Kaileigh and Keri Joanis of Reno, NV and Scarlett Furgang of Simi Valley, CA; nephews Kyle Joanis of Reno, NV, Jesse and James Furgang of Simi VAlley, CA. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Byron Wiest of Simi Valley, CA; aunt, Debbie Hunter of Bakersfield, CA.
