Born February 2, 1929 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Passed away on October 19, 2025. in Encino, California, where she had been a longtime resident. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth D. Revercomb (Oct. 23, 2003). Loving mother of daughters, Julia Marie Revercomb Gustin (Michael) & Rhonda Kathleen Revercomb; Cherished grandmother of Julia & Michael’s children, Joseph M. Gustin (RIP 11/7/2013), Emily A. Gustin Volkoff (Deni) and Michael’s daughter, Lisa N. Gustin Salazar (Brandon).
Dotty grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Joseph L. Huber & Anna C. (Wassman) Huber, the fourth of their six children: Joseph (Joe), Marian, Robert (Bob), Richard (Dick) and Lawrence (Larry). Attended Nativity Grade School (class of 1943) and Regina Catholic High School (class of 1947). She met the love of her life, Kenneth Revercomb, at the soda fountain two months before graduating high school in April 1947, and they quickly became inseperable. She worked for several years as a secretary to the Vice-President at Thomas E. Wood Insurance in the Carew Tower downtown before happily marrying Ken at Nativity Church on February 6, 1954. They were blessed with two daughters, Julia Marie (born January 11, 1955) and Rhonda Kathleen (born August 16, 1956). Moved to Woodland Hills, California on January 4, 1961, when Ken was transferred by Liberty Records to be their National Sales Manager. Subsequently moved to Encino, California on August 29, 1966.
Dotty was a ‘stay at home’ mom, didn’t drive until she was in her late 30’s; supported her husband with his work and her two daughters with their studies & in their budding, varied interests. The daughters’ friends were always welcome and she became like a second mom to many,
Dotty will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She will be remembered for her wonderful & quick sense of humor, her gentle & compassionate spirit and her strong dedication to her family, friends and to her faith. We have always been blessed to have such a loving & caring mother and grandmother. May God hold you in his arms and give you eternal Rest in Heaven with Ken and the rest of the Angels who now watch over us.
Dotty will be laid to rest in Oakwood Memorial Park, 22601 Lassen St. in Chatsworth, California beside her husband, Kenneth D. Revercomb and near her grandson, Joseph M. Gustin. Assisting the family is Rose Family Funeral Home in Simi Valley, CA.
