Edith Jane Stalker

April 6, 1929 - April 23, 2014

Edith Jane Stalker, 85, of Simi Valley, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at Los Robles Hospital in Thousand Oaks, California after a lengthy illness.  Memorial services will be held Rose Family Funeral Home and Mortuary on Monday, April 28th, at 11:00 a.m. There will be an open viewing at 10:00 a.m. at Rose Family Mortuary prior to the service.

Edith was born in Pittsburgh, Pa. to Raymond and Edith Loether. She had three sisters (Jean, LaVerne, Dorothy) and three brothers (Donald, Raymond, Herb). She married Dean Lenon Stalker September 3rd, 1948 in Pittsburgh and together had 5 children (Susan, Don, Gary, Keith, Chris). She has resided in California since 1963, and has lived in Simi Valley since 1966.

She was the most loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  Edith later in life, had a career spanning over 30 years at J.C. Penney's.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dean, and grandsons, Ian and Ryan Stalker.

She is survived by  children: Susan (Doug) Baker, Don (Cherie) Stalker, Gary (Pam) Stalker, Keith Stalker, Chris Stalker.  Grandchildren: Drew, David, Rebecca, Robert, Kevin, Eric, Gerry. As well as 6 great grandchildren: Kaytlin, Chloe, Chad, Ethan, Gerry, Audrey.

She will be forever missed and all of her family is looking forward to the day they are all reunited.
