Elsie Violette

Elsie Violette, 86, of Moorpark, CA, passed away on February 24, 2024 in West Hills, CA.

Funeral service will be held at Rose Family Mortuary on March 13, 2024 at 11:00am with

Jonathan Mulford officiating.

Elsie was born in El Paso, TX to Julio and Soledad Cuilty on November 12, 1937. Her mother died giving birth to her and she was adopted by her Aunt and Uncle, Henrietta and Ross Schultz. They moved from Texas to California her senior year of high school. Shortly afterward, she met Frank Violette at a Halloween party. The following June, they were married. (June 7, 1958) They moved around a lot. Elsie was a stay-at-home mother until they moved to Simi Valley, CA where she started working as a secretary for Simi Valley Unified School District for about 10 years. She enjoyed playing tennis. She was the captain of her senior women’s tennis team. They traveled all over Florida competing. Elsie is survived by her husband Frank Violette, daughters Laura Tufto and Judy Violette, son Richard Violette, Grand-daughters Bonita, Kassie, Heather, and Felicity, Grand-sons Billy, Kaleb, Gabe, Oliver and Keith. She is preceded in deathby her sons John and Robert Violette.
