Estelle Marie O'Leary

Estelle Marie “Betty” O’leary, 95 of Thousand Oaks, California, born July 25, 1920 in Champaign, Illinois passed away on the afternoon of October 15, 2015, with her family by her side.

No funeral services will be held. The family will be holding a private ceremony to celebrate her life where she will be remembered for her witty personality and ability to make you smile and laugh when she entered a room. She was a warm and wonderful person who left each of us with our own special love for her. She will be missed by all.

Betty moved to Southern California in 1945 with her beloved husband, Oscar Nicholas Freischlag where she spent her life raising her children.

Betty is survived by her Sons, Robert Freischlag and Nick Freischlag, Daughter, Linda Freischlag, Brother, Jud Collins, 6 grandchildren, Jennifer Freischlag, Karen Freischlag, Chris Freischlag, Nick Freischlag, Nathan Freischlag and Kim Downard as well as 14 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Oscar Nicholas Freischlag and Daughter, Judith Anne Newton.

Memorial donations may be made to Tri-County Regional Center (TCRR) Help Fund for Developmental Disabilities, 520 E. Montecito St., Santa Barbara, CA 93103 instead of flowers. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Jessica and Brandon of Westlake Health Care Center and the staff at Innerjoy Hospice Care.
