Ethan was born at UCLA medical center and raised in Simi Valley. He attended preschool through high school in Simi Valley as well. Ethan was baptized, received his first communion, and was confirmed at St. Peter Claver church, where he was also a member of the youth ministry. As a member of the local community, he volunteered at Rancho Park and the recreation center. As a member of the Navy Sea Cadets, he achieved the rank of E3 Seaman and scored Expert in the marksmanship program. Ethan’s athletic experiences included little league baseball, wrestling, parkour, flag football, and lacrosse.
He was a very accomplished young man, earning Associate Degrees in Business Administration and General Studies from Moorpark College. He then moved on to Fowler College of Business, SDSU where he majored in business with a focus on finance. His school involvement included being the Treasurer for the on-campus publication, The Look Magazine. He was also a member of the Finance & Investment Society.
Ethan’s favorite vacation spot was in Prince Hill Kauai, Hawaii, where he spent several summers with his family. He enjoyed many road trips to Oregon to visit his Nana and he loved exploring new places. He recently had a memorable trip with his family to his mother’s native
The Philippines, where he learned about the culture, local foods, and customs.
He had an eclectic fashion sense that was all his own, highlighted by his preference for grey, blue & black. He grew up loving hip-hop music and dancing, and he would dance like no one was watching (all the while knowing everyone was watching). His competitive nature showed during poker night with his friends. Ethan loved his family and
friends, and his friends were always treated like family members. This explains his large extended family.
Ethan is loved by many and is survived by his parents, Michael & Melanie, and his brother, Preston.
