Evelyn Lobusta Galang

Evelyn Lobusta Galang, 81, of Porter Ranch, California, passed away unexpectedly on August 25, 2026.

Evelyn is survived by her loving and devoted husband of nearly 56 years, Roberto Maggay Galang, 90; their children, Rey Galang (Lisa Correa), Michelle Galang (Brian), and Melissa Galang (Leslie Sarmiento); her grandchildren, Devin Galang, Fina and Koa Vandenberg, and Robert Luna Sarmiento; her sister, Erlinda Jacinto (Eduardo); her brother, Jofre Lobusta (Ofelia). She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends with whom she shared so much love and happiness.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, José and Jemima Lobusta; her sisters, Tess and Illuminada; her brothers, Claude, José Jr., and Bernardo; and a menagerie of beloved pets who waited to greet her.

Services will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 9:30 AM at Chapel of the Oaks, officiated by Fr. Eben MacDonald of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Northridge, followed by interment at Oakwood Memorial Park in Chatsworth, California.

Evelyn Lobusta Galang will be remembered for her caring heart and vibrant spirit.
