Frederick Wavel Frisinger

Frederick W. Frisinger, 70, was born in Los Angeles in 1948. During birth, Fred sustained brain injury that left him in need of constant care his entire life.

Fred lived at home and was lovingly taken care of by his parents, Helen and Wavel, until their respective deaths. Fred's sister Mary Jenkins, managed his overall care needs and Fred transitioned to board and care where he successfully participated in a day program that taught him new behavior strategies for a fuller life.

Fred was creative and as a youngster had an exceptional talent for drawing race cars. In his later life, he spent most of his time writing. He loved receiving writing tablets and pens for gifts and he put them to good use.

Fred passed after a brief illness on January 6, 2019 in Chatsworth, CA.

Services will be held at Rose Family Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 15th, 2019 at 10:00 with burial at Assumption Cemetery to follow.
