Glen Gilmore
12/14/1961 – 1/15/2026
With great sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our loving husband, father and friend, Glen Gilmore. Glen passed away peaceably at home on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at the age of 64. Glen was born on December 14, 1961 in Santa Barbara, California where he lived through his early 20’s. He travelled extensively during his 20’s and early 30’s visiting several countries throughout Western and Eastern Europe, Asia, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand. He was proud of the fact that he learned to speak Danish as an adult, after living in Denmark for several years. It was no surprise that he met his wife Michelle, while he was on a work trip outside the United States. Glen was a friendly guy who loved to laugh, drink a few beers, and enjoy the moment. He was a subcontractor for more than 30 years, and he was known for quality work and high customer satisfaction. He took pride in a job well done, and was fortunate to work often with his fellow contractors who were also good friends. Glen’s favorite pastimes were: riding his motorcycle, gardening, walking along the beach, travelling, listening to podcasts, and hanging out in his man-cave. Glen lived a full life and was proud of the home he provided for his family. However, what gave him the most pride were his beautiful children: Jasmine and Jaden. He could not have been prouder of the young adults they became and their passionate pursuit of their dreams. Glen was preceded in death by his father, John; mother, Beverley; and brother, John “Jay”. In addition to his wife, Michelle, and his children, Jasmine and Jaden; Glen is survived by his mother-in-law, Catherine; father-in-law, Morris and his wife, Linda; sister-in-law, Monique; nieces, Symone and Niyah, cousins and friends.
