Herve De Clercq

Herve Rene Joseph DeClercq joined our Lord on February 25, 2011. He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia, daughter Susan Connally and her husband, Frank, sons, Robert Gregory and his wife, Susan, Michael DeClercq, Jeffrey DeClercq and his wife, Victoria, Jimmy DeClercq, seven grandchildren, Ribbon, Steven, Jill, Bret, Brianna, Justin and Taylor, sisters, Agnes Salter and Ginger Kirschman, and numerous nieces and nephews. Herve was born March 19, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan. Herve was a proud Korean War Veteran, serving honorably in the U.S. Army from 1953-1955. Herve married "Patsy", in 1968, living and loving 42 special years together. Herve will be remembered by his children and grandchildren, as not only their father and grandfather, but their hero, a man who taught by example the gift of family love, devotion and responsibility. Herve was an ardent bass fisherman with a close circle of fishing buddies at Lake Casitas. Herve will be remembered best by family and friends, as a loving and generous man with an infectious sense of humor, a twinkle in his eye, and unending repertoire of jokes! A celebration of Herve's life will be held Tuesday March 1, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Family Mortuary, 4444 Cochran Avenue Simi Valley, CA.
