Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather, Ignacio Martinez Pérez of Simi Valley

(age 81) on August 18, 2017 went home to our Lord and entered into eternal life.

He was born December 19, 1935 in Puruándiro, Michoacán, México. A retired carpenter, Ignacio came to the United States in search of a better life for his family in 1961.

Ignacio leaves behind a loving wife, Ramona and his big family of 9 children: Maria Guadalupe Pérez-Medeiros (Richard), Patricia Freund (David), Elsa Pérez-Pacino (Marc), Ignacio A. Pérez, Jr. (Maria del Refugio), Rosa Maria Ruelas (Rosendo), Eduardo Pérez (Leslie), Miguel Pérez, Lucia Russell (Victor) and Beatris Pérez; 16 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren with a third great grandchild on the way.

A rosary will be recited at 7:00pm on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic in Simi Valley. His funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00am on Thursday, August 24, 2017, also at St. Rose of Lima Catholic. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery in Simi Valley.
