J. Jesús Cisneros Hernández
March 15, 1955 – July 6, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, J. Jesús Cisneros Hernández, affectionately known to many as “Chuche” and “Don Jesús.” He entered into eternal rest on July 6, 2026.
To us, he was simply Apá.
Our father was a man of unwavering strength, integrity, and generosity. He believed in hard work and spent his life providing for those he loved. No task was beneath him, no sacrifice was too great, and no person in need was ever turned away. He was the kind of man who would truly give you the shirt off his back without expecting anything in return.
He was a man of his word. If he made a promise, he kept it. His honesty, loyalty, and steadfast character earned him the respect of everyone who knew him. He lived passionately and fiercely, never afraid to stand up for what he believed in or for the people he loved. Though humble in spirit, he possessed a heart of gold and a generosity that touched countless lives.
Family was the center of his world. He loved deeply and wholeheartedly, always doing everything he could to help his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends. One of the greatest joys of his later years was spending time with his grandchildren, creating memories filled with laughter, love, and simple moments that will be treasured forever.
He also carried a deep love and pride for his hometown of Atacheo, Michoacán, Mexico. No matter where life took him, his roots remained close to his heart. He spoke of his hometown with pride and never forgot where he came from. His humility, resilience, and love for his heritage shaped the man he became and the values he passed on to his family.
During his final days, our family was blessed to be by his side. Although our hearts are broken by his loss, we find peace in knowing that his suffering has ended and that he is now resting in the presence of the Lord.
His legacy is not measured by material things, but by the lives he touched, the family he loved, the friendships he cherished, and the example he set. His strength, kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to those he loved will continue to live on in each of us.
While we will miss him beyond words, we are grateful for every lesson, every sacrifice, every laugh, and every moment we were blessed to share with him.
Rest in peace, Apá.
You will forever be loved, forever missed, and forever remembered.
“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”— Revelation 21:4
