Jeffrey Mahlon Williams

October 22, 1950 — May 5, 2025

Jeffrey Mahlon Williams, age 74, passed away peacefully at his home in Simi Valley, California, on May 3, 2025.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 480 Sinaloa Road, Simi Valley, CA.

Jeff is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Sharon Williams; their three children, Ryan Williams (Joy), Lindsey Williams, and Kristin Bluth (Macky); and seven cherished grandchildren: Ari Williams, Maelin Williams, Quinn Bluth, Rowan Bluth, Brynn Bluth, Zoey Bluth, and Lily Bluth. He is also survived by his brother, John Williams, and sister, Anne Schlegel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and LaRae Williams; and his sister, Ellen Osman.

Born on October 22, 1950, in Pasadena, California, Jeff grew up with a strong sense of family and faith. He graduated from Paso Robles High School in 1968 and later earned his Law degree from Western State College of Law in 1981. He practiced law with dedication and integrity for close to 40 years.

At 19, Jeff was called and served faithfully for two years in the Minnesota-Manitoba Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A lifelong member of the LDS Church, he served diligently in many callings, including Bishop, High Councilman, and Primary Teacher - roles that reflected his deep devotion to the gospel and his love for others.

Jeff met the love of his life, Sharon, in the summer of 1972 at the Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles. They were sealed in the Los Angeles Temple on April 12, 1975, and spent five decades building a beautiful life together.

Those who knew Jeff will remember his deep love for Hawaii, his unwavering testimony of Jesus Christ, and his fondness for Sharon's homemade cookies. He was a devoted fan of the Dodgers and BYU football, and you could always count on him to be sporting his favorite shade of blue or a Tommy Bahama.

Jeff was the kind of father, husband, and friend who made you feel seen, heard, and loved. His infectious laugh, radiant smile, and boundless enthusiasm for life will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Though he has returned home to his Heavenly Father, Jeff's legacy of love, faith, and kindness will continue to ripple through generations. We will carry his light with us-forever grateful, forever changed, and forever his.
