Joan Mariann Bremberg

Joan Marianne Bremberg 91, of Canoga Park & Valencia California, passed away on August 29, 2025 in Thousand Oaks, California. Just 6 hours shy of her 92nd birthday.

A Graveside service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery in Chatsworth on September 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM officiated by her eldest son Bret Bremberg.

Joan was born in Chicago, IL to Robert William and Roma Dorothea Bremberg on August 30,1933. Moving to Southern California at the age of 3, She went to high school at Canoga Park High and worked as an administrative assistant with Liberty Mutual for over 20 years.

Joan is survived by her sons, Bret and Glen Bremberg. Her granddaughters Sarah, Danielle and Amber Bremberg. Her grandson Mason and her incredible great grandchildren Jude and Scarlett, and numerous friends and her loved ones who called her Nana!

Nana’s warmth, humor, and love will forever be stitched into the fabric of our lives, just like the blankets she so lovingly crocheted. She filled her days with laughter in the company of her grandchildren and nights with joy at the bowling alley, and endless care for her family. Though we’ll miss her dearly, we know she’s somewhere keeping score and making sure everyone’s well fed and wrapped up in the strongest hugs.
