Joseph Grabowski

Joseph T. Grabowski Jr., 76, formerly of Tavares, FL passed away peacefully on September 2, 2022 in Simi Valley, CA.

Joseph was born on March 16, 1946 in Oswald, W. Virginia to Joseph Sr. and Pauline (Lipto) Grabowski. Joseph spent time in Massachusetts where he raised his 2 sons (Michael and Stephen) with Barbara Cox. He also spent several years in W. Virginia and Florida with his late wife Delma Jean.

Joseph was a proud member of the U.S. Navy. He served in the Vietnam War. Joe loved watching and playing sports and got excited to share his knowledge of the games. He was also a well-respected coach in Carver, MA coaching baseball, basketball, football and women's softball.

He leaves behind his children, Michael Grabowski (Stephanie) of Thousand Oaks, CA, and Stephen Grabowski (Jessica) of Noonan, ND. He has 2 grandsons, Christopher and Zachary, and 2 great-granddaughters Arabella Skye and Azalea Emerald. He has a brother James Grabowski. He is preceded by his parents, wife Delma Jean, and sisters Patricia Hunter and Frances Walker.

A private burial will take place on September 30, 2022 at the Los Angeles National Cemetery in Los Angeles, CA.
