Joe grew up in Queens, NY and came to California at the age of 18 where he went into the automotive business. From very early on Joe had an entrepreneurial spirit which coupled with hard work enabled Joe to build up several successful businesses in the automotive and transportation field. These included a transmission shop, limousines, tow trucks and eventually Joe retired owning Sunset Transport, a car hauling business. Joe, along with his loving wife Rosemary, loved to travel. Favorite California destinations included camping with dune buggy's and dirt bikes in the Mojave desert, Balboa Island, Carpenteria, and Lake Isabella. Through the years there were also many trips to Hawaii and Mexico with various long time friends. Joe was always surrounded by friends, some dating as far back as grade school, and they all agreed on one thing, you could not ask for a better friend than Joe.
Joe leaves behind his loving wife of 33 years Rosemary, daughters Teri, Connie and Christine, Grandchildren Honey, Michael, Brooke and Daelon, Great Grandchildren Arianna, Bella and Vida. He was preceded in death by son Steve.
