Josie Olivas

Josie Olivas, age 67, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday evening, July 28, 2018 at her home in Winnetka, CA.

Josie Olivas was born on April 20, 1951, in San Luis Obispo, CA. She was united in marriage to Michael Olivas on January 16, 1971 in Canoga Park, CA. Josie enjoyed nature and exercising. She loved animals. But most of all, she loved taking care of and spending time with her family and friends.

Josie is survived by her children, Michelle Himelfarb, Sylvia Andraus, and Michael Olivas; five grandchildren, Sophia Andraus, Nolan Himelfarb, Olivia Andraus, Lucas Andraus and Stella Himelfarb; her sisters, Connie Oram, Christy Perez, and Lulu Will; her brother Efren Sandoval and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 10, 2018 at St. Joseph the Worker Church, 19855 Sherman Way, Winnetka, CA 91306.

Josie will be laid to rest with her husband, Michael, at Oakwood Family Funeral Home.
