June Smolarski

June passed into eternal rest on March 30th, 2013 following a brief illness. She was born to James and Lucille Frait in Chicago, Illinois and was their only child. June worked as an executive secretary for Birds Eye Foods where she met her husband Joseph in 1951. They moved to California in 1965 with their two children and built their forever home in Thousand Oaks in 1966 where she lived until her passing. June was preceded in death by her husband Joseph in 2008. She is survived by her daughter Pamela, son Robert, Grandchildren Jennifer, Cordell, Timothy, Gregory, and Ellen, along with her great grandchildren Rylan and Violet. She also leaves her beloved dog Charlie, who never left her side. June was happiest when she was surrounded by her family. She was a member of St. Paschal Baylon church for 47 years and was active in the Thousand Oaks woman's club and looked forward to their luncheon every month. June was a kind and generous woman who will be missed by everyone whose life she touched. In lieu of flowers donations to the ASPCA or ACS would be appreciated.
