Kari Lee Parrish (Finlayson) of Chatsworth, CA, passed away on November 30, 2016 in Van Nuys, CA.
The celebration of her life will be held at Rocky Peak Church on December 9, 2016 at 10:00am. Her final resting place will be Oakwood Memorial Park, Chatsworth, CA.
Kari was born in Inglewood, CA to Douglas and Barbara Finlayson on November 17, 1963. She went to high school at Chatsworth High School and graduated in 1981. She worked as an Accounts Payable Manager for Candle Corporation for 22 years. She had an adventurous spirit and loved the outdoors, cooking and gardening. Her greatest joys in life were her children, family and dogs, Triton and Brooklyn.
Kari is survived by her children, Taryn Parrish Mikusky and Austin Parrish; her son in law, Matthew Mikusky; her sisters, Lita, Tia and Linda, Finlayson; her parents, Douglas and Linda Finlayson; her nephews Grayson and Oliver Finlayson; Harry and Kyle Carter; and her nieces, Theresa and Trisha Boger; Shelby and Ryan Carter. She was proceeded in death by her mother, Barbara Louise Baum Finlayson.
