Kathleen Marie Kohnle

Kathleen Marie Kohnle, 49, of Moorpark, CA, passed away on June 15, 2015 peacefully at home with her family by her side.

Funeral service will be held at Holy Cross Church in Moorpark , CA on June 25, 2015 at 10:00 am with Reverend Larry Neumeier of Holy Cross Church officiating. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery, Simi Valley, CA.

Rosary and Visitation will be held at Rose Family Funeral Home on June 24, 2015 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Rosary from 7:00pm to 8:00 pm. The Rose Family Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements.

Kathleen was born in Encino, CA to Norman and Sheila (Clancey) Hotovec on July, 13, 1965 (A True Valley Girl). She attended Cleveland High School and graduated in 1983. She went on to earn an Associates Degree in General Studies from Pierce College. Her career as an Insurance Sales Agent began in 1991. She worked at Anthem Blue Cross in Camarillo. She enjoyed rising early to facilitate a hardy morning workout prior to beginning her day, relaxing on the beach with a Corona Light, don’t forget the lime. She received numerous awards and honors from Anthem Blue Cross as one of the top Sales Agents. Kathleen was involved in cancer research fundraisers with the UCLA’s Jonnson Comprehensive Cancer Foundation and Sammie’s Circle at USC. She enjoyed spending as much time as possible with her family and friends. Holidays, especially Christmas, were very precious to her.

Kathleen is survived by her Husband, Brian T. Kohnle, son Austin and step daughter Cassidy, Brothers John Hotovec, (Wife Shelly), Jim Hotovec, Brian Hotovec, (Wife Chantel), Parents Norman and Sheila Hotovec and Nephews Casey Hotovec and Devin White.
