Laura May Laschi

Laura May Laschi, 75, of Thousand Oaks, California, passed away on December 13, 2014.

Funeral services will be held at Saint Paschal Baylon Catholic Church, 155 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks, California on Friday, January 2, 2015 at 10:30 a.m.

Laura was born in Lynn, Massachusetts to Bruce and Christine Jackson on November 29, 1939. She graduated from Stoneham High School in 1957. Laura married Anthony (Tony) Laschi of Reading, Massachusetts on January 6, 1962. Laura and Tony raised their three children in Reading until 1977 when they moved their family to Thousand Oaks, California. Laura worked at Robinsons-May Department Store for 14 years before starting her Pet Lover Pet-Sitting business in 1992. Laura enjoyed reading, travel, and dedicating herself to caring for animals. She was a Board Member of the Ventura County Dog Fanciers Club. Above all she treasured her family and her friends.

Laura is survived by her husband, Tony Laschi; daughter, Kim Lynch, sons, Joe and Anthony Laschi; son-in-law, Jason Lynch and daughter-in-law, Susan Laschi; granddaughters, Kristen and Jessica Lynch and Marissa and Kelly Laschi; sisters, Betsy Anderson and Christina Cook; and nieces, Deidre and Anne Zaccagnini.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes memorial donations be made to your local animal rescue in Laura’s name.
