Lawrence David Mesa

Lawrence David Mesa (Larry) age 57 of Hollywood Beach, Ca passed away on August 29th in his home next to his wife, Kate. Memorial service will be held at Cornerstone Church in Simi Valley, Ca on August 14th at 11am with a reception to follow. (Food provided) Pastor Mike Cratch and Mike Brady will perform the service. Larry was born in Sun Valley, Ca to Alfonso and Lupe Mesa on October 26, 1963. He went to high school at James Monroe High School where he graduated in 1982, he went on to study music. Larry worked in the window coverings business for over 30yrs and retired from Window Products Management in Ventura, Ca. Larry’s hobbies were traveling, exploring, fishing, going on mission trips, spending time with his children and grandchildren and his greatest love (besides Jesus) was music. As a worship leader in three churches, he thrived in this ministry. Larry is survived by his wife Kate, their blended family of four children; Erica Mesa, Joshua Mesa, Andrea Hobbs (Matthew) Dustin Bennett (Shayna) and two grandchildren (Emma and Stephen), four brothers; William (Emily) Chris (Honey) Johnny (Bobbi) Jimmy (Robyn) and two sisters; Tina and Madeline (Bob).
