Leoncia Licop “Loleng” 90 years old passed away on 09/14/2023 at her home in Simi Valley, CA.

Funeral Home Viewing and Rosary will be held on September 20, 2023 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM with the Rosary at 7:00PM, at Rose Family Funeral Home located at 4444 Cochran Ave Simi Valley, CA 93063. Funeral Mass will be held on September 21, 2020 at St Rose of Lima 10:00AM in Simi Valley, CA, Burial to follow at Assumption Cemetery in Simi Valley following the funeral mass. Reception will be announced.

Leoncia was born in the Philippines to farmers Rosa and Raymundo Soriano on August 12th 1933. She grew up on a farm; later in life she had her own jewelry business before she met and married Jose Licop in 1961. She had a beautiful family with 4 daughters and 1 son. She was active in her faith and was a devout Catholic. She was an accomplished seamstress making dresses for her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters Christina, Georgina, Carolina, Irene and son Herminigildo “Jeremy”. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jose and parents Rosa and Raymundo.

Gratitude extends to the family and caregivers which include the immediate family.
