Linda J. Woods

Linda Joice Woods of Simi Valley, CA, passed on to fly with the angels, on Thanksgiving Day, November 23, 2023, at home with her husband and daughter at her side, thirteen days after turning 80 years old.

Linda was born November 10, 1943 in Tillar,AR to Boyd and Carrie Stratton. She was one of seven children, five which preceded her in death.

Linda married Curtis Eugene Woods on November 18, 1960 in Tonapah, NV, becoming a love lasting over 63 years. They had two children, Gregory Eugene Woods (Sue) of Nampa; ID and Angela Renee Terry (Dave) of Simi Valley, CA.

Linda and her loving husband started a dry cleaning business in 1976. Their first location was in Ventura, CA. Over the next 47 years the business grew to 5 locations in Ventura County. They had a thriving business and lived an amazing life together. They took exciting vacations, loved their family and cherished their children, 6 grandchildren, Meghan Josol (Kris), Kimberly Lovsto (Brandon), Kayla Strickler (Elliott), Bradley Woods, Joshua Hargraves and Zachary Hargraves and 6 great-grandchildren, Tyler, Brooke, Grayson, Connor, Evelyn and Raelyn.

Linda was a loving and caring friend, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
