Louis Michie

Louis was born August 9th 1933 in Concord Massachusetts. He was preceded in death by his mother Evelyn and his sister Susie. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Rita, brother David, sons Louis and David, daughters Anne Marie (Akagi), Julie (David), Erin (Jim), eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Lou retired from GTE after 34 years of service. During his retirement years, he travelled to Europe, the British Isles and Scandinavia. Many trips to Canada included Vancouver, Hamilton Ontario and Quebec. His interests/hobbies included collecting airplanes, books, and music. Many years were spent in the RV traveling through California and Arizona. Lou had a life long affection for chocolate chips cookies. Memorial service will be held at Rose Family Funeral Home July 12th at 12:30 with a reception immediately following the service. Burial services will be private. In lieu of flowers, anyone interested may make a donation to the Friends of the Library Simi Valley where Lou volunteered.
