Mae Laverne Zadra, 85, of Simi Valley, CA, passed away on March 17, 2016 in Simi Valley.

Funeral services will be held at Rose Family Funeral Home (4444 Cochran St. Simi Valley, CA 93063) on March 28, 2016 at 10am with Sharon Zadra officiating. A private family burial will take place at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills. Rose Family Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements.

Mae Laverne King was born in Chicago, IL to Robert and Viola King on August 29, 1930. She married her high school sweetheart, William Zadra, on April 20, 1949. Together they had six children. She worked as a Ward Clerk at Northridge Hospital for 20 years before her retirement. She enjoyed her kitty, Surprise, the mall, reading, and going to the movies.
