Manuel I Gonzalez

Manuel Ixtlahuaca Gonzalez, 76, of Zacatecas, Mexico passed away on May 3, 2015 in Simi Valley, California at his home.

Manuel was born on August 31, 1938. He immigrated to the United States where he started working as car wash attendant and later worked hard to pursue a career in auto mechanics where he earned a degree in heavy line diesel mechanics and worked in the industry for more than 40 years. In his spare time he enjoyed working on cars, rebuilding engines, his other hobbies include hunting, fishing, billiards and shared his love of the outdoors with his family by taking them on numerous camping trips throughout the California mountains, beaches, and lakes.

Manuel is survived by his wife Sara of 55 years, son Manuel Jr., daughters Ana, Sandra, Aida, Elena, Hilda, Gloria, grandchildren Brittany, Cody, Oscar Jr., Julie brothers Ignacio, Jose and sister Maria

Funeral services will be held at Rose Family Funeral Home on May 9th from 5pm-9pm.
