Manuel Medeiros

Manuel “Manny” Medeiros entered into rest on September 14, 2016 at the age of 92. He was born on September 1, 1924 in New Bedford Massachusetts. He enlisted in the U.S. Army at the age of 20. He was stationed in Germany during WW2 and reached the rank of Private First Class. He married his wife Doris on July 4, 1951 and moved to Simi Valley in 1958. He worked as a Purchasing Liaison for various Aerospace companies, including Rocketdyne for 30 years. He is survived by his two sons Richard and Marc Medeiros, his daughter-in-law Maria, and grandchildren Michael and Kristina. He is preceded in death by his wife Doris. Manny will be remembered for his joyful personality, generous nature and love for his family and friends. His memorial service was held at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church on Tuesday, September 20th.
