Marguerite was born on April 19, 1920 and raised in the English colony of British Guyana located on the northern coast of South America. After completing her education there she moved to the island of Trinidad, where she worked as a secretary on the American military base for five years. As World War II drew to a close she and her sisters immigrated to the United States and settled in Washington, D.C.
On October 13, 1951 Marguerite married her loving husband, Jack. Together they raised five children in the Los Angeles area before retiring to Oak Park in 1995.
Marguerite leaves behind twelve grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and her devoted husband. Throughout her life she maintained a deep devotion to her Catholic faith. Her family, friends and garden were her greatest joys.
Until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of his hand.
