Maria Rosario Aranda (“Rosie”), 83, of Van Nuys, CA. passed away on June 10, 2019 in Winnetka, CA. Funeral services will be held at St. John Eudes Church, 9901 Mason Avenue, Chatsworth, CA. on July 1, 2019 at 10:00AM. Burial will follow at Oakwood Memorial Park, 22601 Lassen Street, Chatsworth, CA. Rose Family Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements. Lunch and Refershments at St. John Udes Church outdoor patio to follow after cemetery. Rosie was born in Durango, Mexico to Rosalio Esparza and Socorro Benavides on October 7, 1935. She legally entered the US in September 18, 1963 and became a US citizen on October 25, 1996. Rosie cleaned homes for a living and raised her family in Reseda, CA. She was an active member of the Catholic Church and loved to cook, clean, garden, sew, and any other activities around her home. Rosie is survived by her son Rudy Aranda, daughter Sonia Byrne, and all of their respective family members. She is preceded in death by her husband Vincente Aranda and son Ruben Aranda.
