Martha Tresia Gigliello

Martha Tresia Gigliello age 91, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Los Robles Hospital in Thousand Oaks, California. Mom was born February 19, 1923 in East Boston, MA to William J. Johnson and Ellen T. (Sullivan) Johnson. She married Alfred G. Gigliello on April 26, 1947 in Boston, MA.

Mom and Dad moved west to Westchester, CA shortly thereafter. In 1950 they moved their family to Reseda. When dad retired they moved to Lake Tahoe and lived there until dad's health failed and they moved back to Simi Valley to be closer to their children. We all have many wonderful memories of vacations spent them in Lake Tahoe.

Mom was a beautiful, kind soul who was devoted to her husband and family. She loved to read and do crossword puzzles.

Mom was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ellen and her beloved husband Al. She is survived by 3 sons, Al and his wife Jackie of Simi Valley, CA, Steven of Lake Tahoe, CA, Jerry of Reseda, CA, two daughters, Patty of Westlake, CA, Carol and her husband Robert of Minden, NV. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be held on December 11, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church, 1305 Royal Ave, Simi Valley, CA, with burial immediately following at Assumption Cemetery, 1380 Fitzgerald Rd., Simi Valley, CA. There will be a reception immediatlly following the burial at the home of Al & Jackie, 2754 Highgate Pl., Simi Valley, CA.
